Mrs. Alvena G. Stone, 46, died at 11:50 a.m. yesterday [October 27, 1952] at Norton Memorial Infirmary. A registered nurse, she was the wife of Robin Edwards Stone. She lived at 848 S. Second. Other survivors are a son, William E. Stone; her mother, Mrs. Mary Gering; two sisters, Mrs. Stanley Hoover, Jeffersontown, and Mrs. Emmitt Tillett, and two brothers, Edward & Theodore Gering. The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow at Maas Funeral Home, 300 E. Broadway, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Church. Burial will be in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery.

Remains at the Maas Funeral Home, on Broadway at Floyd. Funeral from the chapel, Wednesday morning at 8:30 o’clock and from St. Mary Magdalene Church, 817 S. Brook St., at 9 o’clock. Interment in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. The ladies of the Altar Society will meet at the funeral home Tuesday night to recite the rosary.
