GIESEL – Ellen Nellie (nee Dubourg), Saturday, December 6, 1947, at 5:05 p.m., in her 75th year. Widow of the late John Giesel; beloved mother of Mrs. George Lewis of Erie, PA, and Henry C. Giesel of Shively, KY; devoted sister of Mrs. Elizabeth Schardein of Louisville; also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Remains at Schoppenhorst Bros. Funeral Home, 1832 W. Market St. Funeral services Tuesday, December 9 at 8:30 a.m., and from St. Columba Church, 3530 W. Market St., at 9 a.m. Interment in St. Louis Cemetery.
