Mrs. Alice J. Spencer.
Mrs. Alice J. Spencer, the wife of Burtt Spencer of Groveland Station, died at home on Christmas day at the age of 55 years. She was the daughter of the fate James Feathers, and she leaves her mother, her husband and two children, besides two sisters and two brothers who are Mrs. Milton Holbrook of Groveland Station, Mrs. Wm. Gurnett of Rochester, John Feathers of Groveland Station and Waterman Feathers of Dansville. Funeral services will be held this afternoon from the Presbyterian church at Groveland Station (the first funeral to be held in the church) Rev. Funnell the pastor to officiate, burial in Lake View cemetery.
