CHARLES L. HETRICK
Outstanding citizen of Hastings,died at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon at his home. He was 62 years of age
and served fifteen years as a member of the Hastings school,years as a tax collector and ten years as burgess.
About six month ago,Mr Hetrick sold his interest in the Red Top Coal corn Company at Hastings.Forty years ago he
married Ida Mills, these children being born to the union:William of Barnsboro;Robert of Hastings and Jane at home,
Eva, wife of Wilfred A. Fisher and Miss Rose Hetrick, both of Detroit, Mich.,Hazel, wife of James Thomas of Hastings,
and Naomi,wife of Frank DeConno,of Hastings. Other survivors are twenty-one grandchildren and his mother, Mrs. Clara
J. Hetrick of Barnesboro, and these brothers and sisters, Harvey Hetrick of Clymer, Mrs. R. Givens of Indiana,
Alvin Hetrick of Spangler,Mrs. Paul McDowell of Jeannette and Miss Mary Hetrick, night superintendent of Miners's hospital,
Spangler.The time of the funeral has been net for 9 o'clock Wednesday morning, with a high mass of requiem at St. Bernard's
Catholic church. Burial will he made in the church cemetery.Mr.Hetrick was a member of the Altoona Elks lodge, No. 102.
