Emma Margaret Anderson was born September 4, 1882 at Dannebrog, Nebraska and was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jorgan Anderson. She resided with her parents near Dannebrog for several years, later moving to a farm north of Cushing.
She passed away Wednesday morning, December 15 at the hospital in St. Paul at the age of 62 years 3 months and 9 days.
She has been ill for the past two years and was taken to Savannah, Mo for treatment and also Omaha.
In 1905 she was married to Fred Ludington and to this union three children were born who with their father mourn her passing. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith when a child.
Her daughters are Marion Whitt of Grand Island, Mae Jepson of Cushing and Fay Kennedy of Omaha. She also leaves a sister Anna Trail of Central City and a brother Pete Anderson of St. Paul.
Services were held Saturday from the Lutheran church with burial at Rock Creek Cemetery.
