ROGERSVILLE -- Rev. Gale E. Klepper, age 69, Rogersville, died Saturday, April 1, 2000, following an extended illness.
He was a Baptist preacher and a retired employee of McDonald Golf Course.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Oscar and Eldridge Klepper; and two sisters, Elouise Johnson and Leona Klepper.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel of the home; children, Donna Sellers and husband Dennis, Greeneville, Douglas Klepper and wife Alicia, Rogersville, Freddy Klepper and Bobby Wade of the home, Doug Ellis Jr. and fiance Tammy Cupp, Bulls Gap; grandsons, Michael Sellers and fiance Angie Taylor, Greeneville, and Eddie Goins, Bulls Gap; two great-granddaughters, Aaliyah and Selena Sellers, Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2000, at Colboch-Price Chapel, Rogersville.
The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside services will be held 11 .m. Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at Highland Cemetery with Rev. Ray Mullins officiating.
