Magee resident Lesley Martin Johnson, 82, died March 27 at Magee General Hospital.
Funeral services were held Saturday at First United Methodist Church where he was a member. the Rev. Sale Lilly officiated services and interment followed in Magee Cemetery.
Johnson, a graduate of Mississippi College, in Clinton was a a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Alma Johnson of Magee; one sister, Mrs. Martha Thombley of Macon, Ga.; one stepson, Clyde Wade of Rolla, Missouri; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Opal Satchfield of Cleveland; a number of step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mims-Mitchell Funeral Home of Magee handled arrangements.
