Life-Long Resident of Lorain, Dies
Walter B. Mackin, 29, 334 E. 21st street died yesterday afternoon at his home following a long illness.
Born in Lorain, Mackin had lived here all his life. He graduated from Lorain High school with the class of 1930-B and until the time of his illness was employed as a rigger at the national Tube Co.. He was a member of St. Joseph's church.
Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Anges Mackin; seven sisters, Mrs. L.R. Brumback, Mrs. H.F. Ross, Mrs.Allen Nesbitt, Mrs. Harold McCready, all of Lorain, Rose, Rita and Eileen Mackin at home; and five brothers, John D. Mackin, Elyria, M.J. Mackin, Chicago, Carl Mackin, Warren, Raymond and James Mackin, at home.
The body is at the Reichlin-Cooley funeral home where services will be held at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow and at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's church, Rev. Fr. Jerome Rohner will officiate and burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
