SARA M. ARCHIBALD, 90, of Houston, Texas, died Sunday, November 16, 1997 at 8:20 pm at the Hospice of Texas Medical Ceter.

Survived by son, Charles Guokas Jr. and wife Mary Ann of Tyler; daughter, Geraldine Pape and husband, Fred of Fredricksburg, and Sister Jean Marie Guokas, CVI of Houston; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sister, Edith Knox of Hilltop Lakes.

She was a life time member of NARFE (National Association of Retired Federal Employees) Chapter #828 since 1961 having served on several committees and attending many State and National Conventions. Her last meeting was 10/27/97.

Family to receive friends 2:00pm to 4:00pm Tuesday, November 18, 1997 at Earthman Bellaire Chapel. Wake Service is set for 6:30pm. Funeral Mass: 10:30am on November 19, 1997 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Msgr. James Jamail, celebrant. Interment at Woodlawn Gardens of Memories.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Incarnate Word Academy, 609 Crawford St., or the Hospice at Texas Medical Center. Pallbearers will be members of NARFE #828.
