Topton - Ida Elemanda (Reinert), wife of Edwin Bieber, died from cancer at her home near Mertztown, aged 59 years, 9 months and 20 days. She had been ill for the past two years. She was a daughter of the late John and Sarah (Fegley) Reinert and was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Longswamp Church. There survive her husband and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Cora Hoffman, Allentown; Mrs. Alice Helbert, Hancock; Harvey, near this place; Elmer, Mertztown; William, Kutztown; Isaiah, Alburtis R.D. Funeral private, Tuesday, June 23, at 1:30 p.m. from the home. Services at the house, Rev. W. F. Bond, of Shamrock, officiating. Interment in Longswamp Church Cemetery, in charge of Undertaker Irvin d. DeLong, of this place.
