Obit from Weston County Gazette 2/20/1936: Pneumonia is Fatal to Former Resident - Many old-time residents in this vicinity will be grieved to learn of the sudden passing of Mrs. W. J. Lawrence, 66, which occurred Friday at the County Memorial Hospital in Sheridan. Mrs. Lawrence had been in failing health the past year at her home in Big Horn. Two weeks ago her condition became alarming and she was taken to the hospital following a severe attack of pneumonia where she grew weaker and passed away Friday. Mrs. Lawrence was widely known in Weston and Crook county where she lived with her husband for a number of years on a ranch north of here up to 1930. They lived the following year in this city and in 1931 made their home at Big Horn, Wyoming. Funeral services were held Monday from the Champion Drawing room with the Rev. N. R. Simpson officiating.
