Harold Fred Hoar of Hooper, NE died Saturday, March 31, 1979, at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont, NE.
Mr. Hoar was born December 2, 1906 at Lyons, NE. He was the son of Elizabeth Jane Rose and Fred Elmer Hoar.
On July 22, 1929, he was united in marrage with Dorothy Avis Nelson in Sioux City, Iowa. He had resided in Lyons, NE, Walthill, NE, Malmo, NE, Blair, NE and Scribner, NE for 22 years before retiring 7 years ago and moving to Hooper, NE. He was associated with Nebraska Public Power as Supt. for 30 years.
Mr. Hoar was a member of the United Church Of Christ of Scribner, Masonic Lodge #132 of Scribner, and the Eagles Lodge of Fremont.
Survivors include his wife; 2 sons, Robert of Rochester, MN. and Donald of Finley, ND.
