Son of Pheobe Jane Boggs (death certificate says King) and Jacob P. Williams. Married to Elizabeth "Lizzie" Douglas Boggs on Nov 18, 1886 in Lawrence Co, KY. 11 children. He was a retired farmer and lived at 214 W. Main in Carterville, MO for 38 years. They were members of the Full Gospel Church. Nelson was a Baptist Minister and a member of the Masonic Order. Death certificate states that his wife's name was Mary Williams and that she was living when he died; wife #2?. He was buried Nov. 22, 1954. Death certificate says he had arteriosclerosis, had a stroke two months before he died, and developed pneumonia and sepsis 2 days before he died. 90y 1m 12d at death.
