Rev. Benjamin Bidlack was the son of Capt. James and Mehetabel (Durkee) Bidlack. Lydia (Alden) Bidlack was his 1st wife. They were married in 1783 and she died about 1808. Sarah (Gore) Myers Bidlack was his 2nd wife. They were married April 15, 1811 and she died May 20, 1841. He was a minister in the Philadelphia Conference, Genesee (now Western New York) Conference, and Oneida Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
