Mr. Dick was born in Claiborne Parish, and came to Winn Parish when a small child. He was a member of the Atlanta Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were the deceased's nephews, Melvin Gresham of Montgomery, and Smity Smith of Shreveport; a cousin, Lonnie Dick, of Smackover, Ark., and brothers-in-law, C. C. Ferguson of Crowley, Homer Watts and G. G. Smith of Shreveport.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Ezeb Vercher of Shreveport; four sons, Roy and J. W. of Shreveport, Murry and Bobby of Atlanta; three sisters, Mrs. Cassius Ferguson of Crowley, Mrs. Ruth Driggers of Atlanta, and Pearl Cummings of Lake Providence.
