The following note was attached:
"This accident happened Apr 26 1946. She was entering her bedroom from the dining room of her niece with whom she was living at the time. As she opened the door she took hold of the knob to steady herself and the door swung away. This caused her to lose her balance and she fell on her left hip resulting in an impacted of the neck of the femur on that side. This sad accident happened on a farm near highway 13 in the northern edge of Henry Co., nt far from Post Oak, Johnson Co. MO. If above details not sufficient will gladly furnish further."

Originally buried in William "Billie" Dunning cemetery. The graves and Dunning gate were moved to Englewood about 1979 to make way for the Lakes projects. The cemetery was "recreated" in Englewood as shown in photo to right. Most of the graves are marked with a standard marker, altho a few of the original tombstones were moved and placed here. Many graves are markeed as "unknown".
