From The St. Clair County Republican, Osceola, St. Clair, MO, Thursday, Feb. 2, 1922:

Mrs. Geo. H. Wheeler received a message yesterday that her brother, Jesse Bunch of San Diego(sic), Calif., died the 26th of January. He was formerly a citizen of St. Clair county.

(Note: Born in St. Clair Co., MO, he was found in St. Clair Co. in both the 1850 and 1860 census'. In 1900 he was found in Rockwood, Plata Co., CO, showing a birth date of Mar. 1846. The 1920 census shows him in Orange, Orange Co., CA. Per the newspaper mention, he died Jan. 26, 1922, probably in Orange, CA. The 1850 census shows his full name as Jesse Green Bunch. The 1880 and 1900 census both list his profession as a carpenter.)
