C.W. Clabo, 78, of Rockwood, passed away Dec. 22, 2005. Funeral services were conducted Dec. 27 from the chapel of Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, with the Rev. Charles Christopher officiating. Graveside services and interment followed in the Daysville Cemetery with full military honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard.
Mr. Clabo was born Sept. 20, 1927 in Sevierville, TN.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Before his retirement, he was a pipeline worker with Halls Construction Company.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Clabo of Rockwood; daughters, Ann Cline of New Bern, NC, Bonnie Pinder of Jupiter, FL, Petie Baldwin of Powell and Deborah Martin of Kernersville, NC; sons, Steve Clabo of Gatlinburg, Billy Clabo of Chattanooga, Gary Clabo of Chattanooga and Dirk Culvahouse of Harriman; grandchildren, Emilee Baldwin, Kelli Hutchinson, Dillon Martin, April Martin, Destiny Hester, Colin Holder and Steve Clabo Jr.; several great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ruby Tallent, Iva Tallent and Ora Hatcher, all of Knoxville.
He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Ray Clabo.
