Ramona Belle Woods died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. She was 77.
Mrs. Woods was a nurses aide at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Topeka before she retired.
The daughter of George William and Rena Catherine Pyle Lindeman, she was born Nov. 17,1928, in Wamego. She married Charley F. Gunterman. They were divorced. She married Everett B. Woods. He died earlier.
Mrs. Woods was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary in Osage City.
She is survived by four daughters, Sheryl K. Bowers of Eskridge, Willa J. Winsky of Waverly, Elizabeth C. Griffin of Osage City and Christiann L. Rimbey of Burrton; one son, Charley D. Gunterman of Scranton; two stepdaughters, Vanessa Burkdoll of Osage City and Sharon Woods of Texas; three stepsons, Carl Woods of Lawrence, Benjamin Woods of Michigan and John Atchison III of Belton, Mo.; two brothers, William Lindeman of Merridan and Willis Lindeman of Texas; 22 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her companion of 14 1/2 years, John H. Atchison of the home.
Four sisters, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren died earlier.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in Osage City. Burial will be at Osage City Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City.
