There are living in the upper part of Mill Creek hundred, New Castle county, Delaware, three men who are remarkably active for their years. David Eastburn, who is the president of the Newport National Bank, never misses a meeting of the board of directors and is able to oversee closely the work of his farm, although he is 88 years old. One of his near neighbors is Thomas Moore, who is also 88 though he hardly looks sixty. He is an active man retaining all his faculties unimpaired and in the enjoyment of excellent health. He is able to pursue his business without fatigue. Another old man is Samuel Eastburn of the same neighborhood and a brother of David Eastburn. He is 80 and a few years ago was badly hurt by being run into at a B. & O. Crossing. He was able this harvest to pitch his did of the load of hay and to go to market like a young man.
