Christie and Jennie made their home in Elsinore, Utah. while there, Jennie operated a hotel and Christie was in the freighting and mining business. Christie also spent several years as the Town Marshal. Their family of five children were born in Elsinore: Nathan, Marjorie, Lloyd, Bernice and Clark.
In 1914, Christie and Jennie moved to Milford, Utah. He was engaged in mining, freighting and farming while there. In 1924, they moved to Caliente and later on to Las Vegas to be near some of their family. In Las Vegas Christie became involved with the construction of the railroad. Christie died March 18, 1945, in Las Vegas.
