William Darst
POINT PLEASANT - William Earl Darst, 65, of Point Pleasant, died Tuesday in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio, after a long illness.
He was a carpenter and was a former employee of Marietta Manufacturing Co. in Point Pleasant.
Surviving: wife, Marguerite Cartwright Darst; daughters, Miss Gail Darst at home, Mrs. Betty McCormick of Gallipolis, Ohio, Mrs. Jennie Maddy of Wilkesville, Ohio; son, Bruce Darst at home; sisters, Miss Daisy Darst and Mrs. Mildred Woomer, both of Point Pleasant, Mrs. Edith Fox of Clifton; brothers, Frank of Point Pleasant, Clifford of Columbus, Ohio; seven grand-children; two great-grandchildren.
Service will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with the Rev. James L. Bunn officiating.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. today.
