Biological parents: Jacob Wilhelm Lars NASTROM wife Anna SAMUELSON. Anna Samuelson died when baby Anna was very young and her father took her to Jacob and Christian B. Naylor for care. Story has it that they had no children of their own and left with baby Anna seperating her from her birth family.

Mrs. Anna Mary Dunlavy

Mrs. Anna Mary Dunlavy, 69, long-time resident of the Brooks area died Monday at Newport after an illness of several months. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the W. T. Rigdon chapel in Salem with Rev. Kenneth Frank Abbott of Stayton officiating. Concluding services were held at Belle Passi cemetery at Woodburn with the Rebekah lodge in charge of ritualistic services.

Mrs. Dunlavy was born in Heckla, S. D., June 16, 1885. She moved to the Brooks community as a youth and lived there nearly all of her life. She had been members of Harmony Rebekah lodge for over 50 years and also belonged to the Brooks Sewing and Garden clubs. She was a life-long member of the Methodist church. In recent years she had been an independent correspondent for the Brooks community.

Mrs. Dunlavy is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Marie Cole of Stayton, and one son, John Dunlavy of Newport. Her husband, John S. Dunlavy, died in 1934.
