British actress: Her birth name was Dorothy Wardell Heisen and her professional name was Dorothy Hyson. Daughter of Dorothy Dickson and her husband, Carl Heisen (who changed his surname to Hyson). She was married to actor, Robert Douglas from 1936 until 1945 when they divorced. She married actor, Sir Anthony Quayle CBE, in 1947 and remained married until his death in 1989. They had three children together-Christopher Quayle, Rosanna Astley, and actress Jenny Quayle. She died of a stroke.
