Note: Above information found for St. Josephs Cemetery. The land for the large St. Josephs Cemetery was deeded to the Altoona Diocese on May 27, 1910. At that time the cemetery serviced the congregation of Immaculate Conception Church built in 1885. The Cemetery over the years has been referred to in obituaries as Immaculate conception Cemetery, Coupon Cemetery, St Joseph's American Cemetery and even St. Mary's, before this land was deeded to the diocese burials for residents of Coupon took place at either St. Patrick's, Ballitzin or St. Thomas Acquinas in Ashville, PA.

Grace (Lumadue), 73, Coupon, died at 6:55 PM Nov. 13, 1968, at Altoona Mercy Hospital. Born Sept 11, 1895, in Coupon, daughter of Giles and Jane (McMullen) Lumadue. Prededed in death by first husband, Roy Booterbaugh, in 1917. Survived by husband, Frank, and daughter, Mrs Evelyn Lidwell, Ashville R.D.; also three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Sister of Rober Lumadue, Altoona, and Mrs. Bessie Will, Blackstone, VA. Member of Altar-Rosary Society and St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Coupon, where Requiem High Mass will be sung at 11 AM Saturday, the Rev. Joseph L. Weidmann. Interment, church cemetery. Friends received after 7 PM. Thursday at Donald J. Gibbons Funeral Home, Asheville, where Rosary will be recited at 7 PM Friday. ________
