4/13/1875 - Anniston Newspaper - Emory Pike, 78, of Anniston, Rt. 5, died Friday at Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Gardens with the Rev. W. H. Daugherty officiating and Gray Brown Service Mortuary in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Thelma L. Pike, three sisters, Mrs. Sally Fallon of Anniston, Mrs. Willie Allen and Mrs. Stella Robertson, both of Wilton; three brothers, Reese Pike of Cleveland, Tennessee, Maxey Pike of Anniston and Filmore Pike of Lincoln.
Mr. Pike was a native of St. Clair Clunty and had lived in Calhoun County most of his life. he was a retired employee of Monsanto Chemical Company.
The body will remain at the funeral home until time of service.

Dorriety for the expressions of kindness shown and special thanks to Etha Mae Lloyd and Ellis Bain for their services shown during his illness - The beautiful flowers - and all the food served during the recent illness and death of my beloved husband, Emory Pike.
