BURNSVILLE - Waurine Jourdan Elliott, 90, died Saturday, July 21, 2007, at the North Miss. Medical Center in Iuka. She was a member of New Providence Primitive Baptist Church and was retired from Tishomingo State Park.
Services will be at 4:30 p.m. today at the Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen with Elder Herman Clark and Bro. Bobby Elliott officiating. Burial will be in the Little Flock Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Bro. Bobby Elliott and wife, Lesa, of Burnsville, and Billy Elliott and wife, Carolyn, of Jumpertown; one sister, Iona Barnes of Collierville, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Henry Elliott; one son, Jimmy D. Elliott; her parents, Claude and Mattie Davis Jourdan; six brothers; and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Robert Tillett, Larry South, Ronnie Holder, Odell Jourdan, Junior Ticer, Richard Barnhill, Buddy Hall and Lawny Elliott.
