FILLMORE, January 9--Funeral services for Rodney Badger Ashby, 75, prominent Millard County rancher, educator and church worker, who died at his home here Thursday noon of causes incident to age, will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. to Fillmore First Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, bu D. L. Milville, bishop of Fillmore Third Ward.
Additional services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in Leamington LDS Ward Chapel.
Mr. Ashby was born October 26, 1872, at Holden, Millard County, a son of William Hardin and Nancy Maria Badger Ashby. He married Jane M. Stephenson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple September 29, 1898.
He had served three missions for the LDS Church, one to the southern states, one the northwestern states and the third, a temple mission, to Manti.
He had served on the Millard County Board of education eight years.
Burial will be in Leamington, Millard County Cemetery.

He was a farmer and stockraising. Interment was made in the Leamington Cemetery on January 10, 1948 with Olpin Mortuary handling the funeral.
