She was born July 31, 1920, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Daniel J. and Mabelle G. Best Collins. She lived in Prairie Village before moving to Tucson, Ariz. 20 years ago.
Mrs. Troupe was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Tucson. She was a member of the Rockhurst Library Guild, Ladies of Charities and Delta Epsilon Sorority. She was a former member of the Tucson National Golf and Country Club, Indian Hills Country Club in Prairie Village and Millburn Country Club in Overland Park. Mrs. Troupe served as past president of the Providence Hospital Guild and Brownie Girl Scout leader. She also volunteered at st. Ann's Grade School and the Seaton Center, both in Prairie Village.
She married William J. Troupe on July 1, 1944, in Kansas City, Kan. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include four daughters, Cathy Lank, Overland Park, Bobbie Jo Hilton, Lee's Summit, Mo., Janet Michel, Topeka, and Sue Troupe, Kansas City, Mo.; and six grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mrs. Troupe will lie in state after noon today at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town chapel where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday.
