Born on Johns Creek, Floyd (now Pike County), Kentucky to parents: Robert Lesley & Elizabeth Compton Lesley; spouse: Hiram Kilgore Bevins, mar. 10 Dec. 1835; per the Lesley-Leslie history (page 339) by Ruth Cleveland Leslie, "Luna Lesley and Hiram Bevins began their married life on what is known as the Bevins Branch, or Stone Coal Branch, of John's Creek, which is near the Mouth of Brushy Creek as it empties into John's Creek." (Pike County, Kentucky)
