Death has claimed another old resident, Mr. John E Jeddeloh havingpassed to his final reward on Friday, October 1. The cause of death was Brights disease, which first attacked Mr. Jeddeloh in October of last year, following an operation for bladder trouble. John E Jeddeloh was born in Oldenberg, Edbieach, Germany, Nov. 17, 1840. He was united in marriage with Margerata Helena Ehlers, March 19, 1863, and came to America in 1866. In July of 1868 he settled in Clayton county Iowa, where he resided until January 26, 1871, when he took up residence in Woodville
Township Waseca county. Oct. 28, 1876 he removed to Vivian Township whe he remained until his death. The funeral was held Monday at the German Evangelical Zoar's church at one o'clock p.m. and the remains were laid to rest in the church cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss a widow and
nine children, five sons and four daughters, besides 36 grandchildren.
The children are John B. of Vivian, Mrs. H. Betz of New Richland, Mr C. Steinagle of Vivian, H. F. and Fred of New Richland, Herman and Mrs. Henry Fritchie of Ogilvie, Mrs George Billir of Olivia, and Wm. of Vivian, with whom he made his home. Mr. Jeddeloh was a highly respected citizen
and esteemed by all. May he rest in peace.
