Edmund's middle name is Ironsides as his father, Rear Admiral William Radford, buried in the same lot as Edmund, sailed New Ironsides during the Civil War. This can be found in the biography, Old Naval Days written by his sister, Sophie de Meissner, who is also buried in the lot.
