BOUNTIFUL/SMITHFIELD, Utah -- Beth Toolson Graham, 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 11, 2000 in Bountiful, Utah after a six month illness.

Beth was born on July 25, 1917 in Smithfield, Utah, a daughter of Richard Harper and Gertrude Emma Ashcroft Toolson. She was the oldest of eight children.She was a member of the LDS church and grew up in Smithfield and graduated from North Cache High School. She was the first queen of Smithfield Health Days Celebration. She continued her schooling at Utah State University. Beth married George Clifton Graham on October 28, 1937. Together they raised three sons. They lived in Winnemucca, Nevada; Smithfield, Roy and Ogden, Utah. They were later divorced. After her divorce, Beth returned to college and obtained a degree in elementary education. She taught school in Tooele, Clearfield and Bountiful.

Beth is survived by three children, Richard Wayne and Camille Graham, Payette, Idaho; Judy Graham, Bountiful; Daryl Toolson Graham; brothers, Burns Toolson, North Ogden; Robert and Eloise Toolson, Smithfield; Landell and Wylene Toolson, San Diego, CA; Gene and LuJean Toolson, Bountiful; Brian and Linda Toolson, Seattle, WA; sister, Patricia Berguson, Salt Lake City; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Allan George Graham; and a brother, Kay.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Smithfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center, Logan, Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
