Wife of Jesse Van Slyck, who was a Captain in Colonel Abraham Wemple's 2nd Albany County Militia regiment in the Revolutionary War. Her Dutch name was "Jacomyntje," which was Americanized to "Jemima." She married Jesse Van Slyck on December 4, 1762. Their children were Peter, Elizabeth, Simon J. Hellen, Marten I. and Abraham.
