OBIT: Word was received late Tuesday evening from Louis J Haas, chief of police at Toledo, Ohio that Orville Rock, brother of Frank rock, day yard master of the Big Four Railroad [RR]here, had been found dead there Saturday. Orville Rock was born here 44 years ago a son of Mrs. Emma Rock and Amos Rock deceased. He lived in Lafayette until the outbreak of the World war when he enlisted and served overseas. After hostilities ceased he located in Toledo. He was married to Mattie Barton, a Lafayette girl. Rock was a member of the first Christian church and at one time was affiliated with the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. His occupation while here was that of a brakeman working with the Big Four and then the Lake Erie & Western railways. There survive besides the widow, two brothers here, Mel Rock of South Fourth Street; Frank Rock of Central street; a sister Mrs. Mary Klutzke of South Twenty first street and Earl Rock of Gary. Frank Rock of this city and Earl Rock of Gary left here Wednesday morning for Toledo to assist in making funeral arrangements. It was thought the burial and funeral would take place in Toledo.

**I have received information from a kind Findagrave photo volunteer that Sunshine Cemetery was once located near Detroit and Arlington. It was removed when the current developmental center was built. After numerous discussions with the City of Toledo, they were unable to offer any help as to where records of interments may exist. The "unknown remains" were removed to Forest Cemetery and placed in a shared grave. The City erected a bench beneath a tree at Forest Cemetery in memory of those interred there. They state there are NO records in their possesion.
