He was regarded as the most prolific voice in film and animation. His distinctive voice can be heard in the characters of Gumby, Archie, Buzz Buzzard, Q.T. Hush, Tigger Tiger, the fox in Mary Poppins and in numerous Sam Singer cartoons. At Disney Studios, he was the primary voice over for the movies "Sleeping Beauty", "Lady and the Tramp", "101 Dalmations", "The Jungle Book", "Bedknobs & Broomsticks" and "Mary Poppins". He also provided the voices for Disney Records, "Stories of Uncle Remus" and Disney theme parks warnings for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion's graveyard and Zeke in Country Bear Jamboree.
