DECATUR ---- The funeral of Lula A. Scroggin, 79, a former Lincoln resident who died Friday (Sept. 23, 1983) will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Holland & Barry Funeral Home , Lincoln, with Joe Seggelke officiating. Burial will be in Atlanta Cemetery, Atlanta.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
She was born Nov. 11, 1903, in Decatur, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Amberg. She married Ralph Scroggin, who died March 1, 1960.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Gwen Burtschi, Decatur; a brother, Clifton Amberg, Lincoln; two sisters, Bernice Leesman, Atlanta, and Myrtle Norfleet, California; and five grandchildren.
A son preceded her in death.
