H. T. Dillon dies at Lovell
LOVELL -- Horace Turner Dillon, 70 died in North Big Horn hospital at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, following a illness of about two months. He had been hospitalized for a week.
Mr. Dillon was a retired carpenter who had resided in Lovell for 45 years. He was born July 12, 1895, at Canton, Mo., the son of Mr. and Ms. Alviris Dillon. He married Lula Asay on March 20, 1920.
Mr. Dillon is survived by his wife; two sons, Horace T. Dillon, Jr., and Clive L. Dillon, and one daughter, Mrs. Wesley Smith, all of Lovell; one sister, Mrs. Arnold Baumann of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted in the LDS chapel here at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with Bishop Elmer Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Lovell cemetery, with Haskell funeral home in charge of arrangements.
Horace T. Dillon Dies in Hospital
LOVELL, Wyo. -- Horace T. Dillon, 70, retired carpenter and cabinet maker, died in North Big Horn Hospital here Sunday night after a long illness.
Born July 12, 1895 at Canton, Mo., son of Mr. and Mrs. Alviris Dillon, he married Lulu Asay at Basin March 20, 1920. He lived in Lovell for 45 years.
Survivors include the widow; two sons, H.T. Dillon Jr. and Clive L Dillon, both of Lovell; a daughter, Mrs. Wesley Smith of Lovell; a sister, Mrs. Arnold Baumann of Cape Giradeau, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints Chapel in Lovell by Bishop Elmer Stevens. Burial will be in Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home is in charge.
