VERNON — Jimmy R. Carr, 63, of Vernon died Friday, July 10, 2009, in Wichita Falls.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilbarger Saint Church of Christ in Vernon with Jay Hanley officiating. Burial will be in Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home of Vernon.
Mr. Carr was an editor for the Vernon Daily Record since 1968.
Survivors include wife, Sandra Carr of Vernon; two sons, Chris of Edmond, Okla., and Jason of Grapevine, Texas; one brother, Ronnie of Vernon; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
