Raymond Robert Wools, age 68 passed away on May 3, 1986. He was born on October 26, 1917, the son of Robert Wools and Myrtle Risher Wools. He was a U.S. Army Verteran of World War II. He worked in the coal mines of Greene, Knox, and Pike Counties in Indiana before retiring to Fruitland Park, Florida to fish and golf.
On December 7th 1935, Raymond was married to Irmal Ruth Woodruff Wools. In additon to his wife, he is survived by his children Donald (Marilyn) Wools, Alicia (Harold) Privett, Linda (Dennis) Scott, Richard (Mary Jane) Wools, and Dale (Joyce) Wools. He is also survived by Grandchildren Deborah (Paul) Elliot, Kevin Wools, Susan Wools, Terri (Russell) Brann, Randy (Sharma) Privett, Karen Scott, Mike Scott, Kelly Scott, Tony Wools, Jeff Wools, and Joel Wools. Great-grandchildren Austin Brann and Eric Elliot also survive.
Also surviving are brothers and sisters Cecil Wools, Margaret Wools Hurst, Pansy Wools Stephenson, Joetta Wools Woods, Clarence Wools, June Wools West, Betty Wools West and Kenneth Wools.
In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by siblings James, Wanda, and Donald Wools and Emma Wools McCombs and Grace Wools Mullins.
