Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10a.m. Thursday from St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Rev. Robert Reycraft the celebrant.
Burial will follow in Riverside cemetery.
Miss Boerner was born April 14, 1902 in Utica, Neb., the daughter of Casper and Annie Nabor Boerner. She received her early schooling in Olpe, Kan., before the family moved to a farm near Fleming in 1916. She came to Sterling in 1928 and worked for Marshall Cafeteria, then Reynold's Cafe. She worked as a dietician and cook for Foxhoven's Cafe for many years, retiring in 1975.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and St. Theresa Circle of the Altar and Rosary Society.
Miss Boerner is survived by a brother, Charles Boerner; two sisters, Miss Elizabeth Boerner and Miss Bertha Boerner, all of Sterling and two sisters-in-law, Mrs Emma Boerner of Fleming and Mrs. Elizabeth Boerner of Sterling.
Chaney-Walters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
