A memorial service for Earle V. Core III, 54, Philadelphia, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Unity Church of Lawrence. Ashes will be scattered in Hawaii at a later date.
Mr. Core, a former resident of Wichita, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at his home in Philadelphia.
He recently moved to Philadelphia after living in Hawaii for many years. Mr. Core was a graduate of Pittsburg State University and the Physician Assistant program at Wichita State University.
Survivors include his partner, David Jackson, Philadelphia; his father, Earle V. Core Jr., Lawrence; his mother, Elizabeth A. Core, Sharon Springs; and a sister, Barbara VanCortlandt, Lawrence, all formerly of Wichita.
