William Henry Taylor is the son of John Henry (known as Henry J.) Taylor and Bridget Thorpe (1848-1923).

William married Elsie Mae Williams (1887-1947) on January 19, 1905, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

They had two sons, Russell Wesley born about 1905, and Joseph James "Pete" (1909-1971). Russell was living in the 1980s.

TAYLOR. On Monday, February 15, 1971, William H., husband of the late Elsie M. Williams Taylor; father of Joseph J. (Pete) and Russell F. [sic] Taylor; three grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the CONRAD BEGLINGER JR. FUNERAL HOME, 1008 Chartier`s Ave., Elliott. Funeral mass at St. James Church, West End on Friday at 9 a.m.
