Funeral for Ina Lila Hames, 95, of Decatur, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with Mike Nix officiating.
Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery in Lawrence County. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hames died today at Dectur General Hospital. She was born Ina Lila Baber on January 2, 1899 in Morgan County. Mrs. Hames was the widow of Joseph Robert Hames. Five children died during her lifetime. She was a member of Piney Chapel Church of Christ in Lawrence County.
She is survived by two sons, Frank Hames of Decatur and Jerry Hames of Crystal Lake, Ill; thre daughters, Ida Dell Hudson of Trinity, Doris Woodard of Decatur and Mary Dutton of Moulton, 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
