B C Christenson Retired Anson Farmer Dies

ANSON June 12- Benjamin C Christenson, 83, died at 2:20 pm Wednesday after bring stricken shortly before at the Anson HoteL - Mr. Christenson a retired apple orchard farmer moved to Anson In December 1950 from Methow, Wash. He had been spending his winters here for the past 10 years Ha was born Nov. 25, 1873 at Marne, Iowa. He married Edna Davis at Greenville in 1906 and moved to Washington and lived there for over 50 years. Christenson was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of a niece from Washington. The body win be shipped to Washington for burial. He is survived by two sisters-In-law, Mrs. j. B. Murray Sr. of Abilene and Mrs. O J. Cooper Sr. of Anson and several nieces and nephews.
