Cpl. Albert Clifford Erickson, who was killed in action in Korea Feb. 14, was born at Pelican Rapids Dec. 20, 1929, the third son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Erickson. He was baptized by Rev. Egge and confirmed by Rev. Stenson and was graduated from the local high school in 1947. In September, 1948 he enlisted and was sent to Okinawa and was discharged and came home in May, 1950. He was recalled to the service in September, 1950 and sent to the war front in Korea.
Besides his parents "he is survived by four sisters and five brothers. They are: Mrs. Orland Cobb (Alice), Lansing, Michigan; Mrs. Leonard Peterson (Clarice), Minneapolis; Mrs. Clifford Runningen (Myrna), Pelican Rapids; Amos of Glasgow, Montana; Arthur, Donald, Randolph, Ernest and Deloris at home.
Clifford was a member of the V. F. W. of the village.
