Alvin Neal Hardy, s/o David W. & Mary F. (Baker) Hardy, was married to Nancy M. (Snyder) Hardy with whom he had three children, Walter S., Maude E. and Lenore E. Hardy.

RECENT DEATHS
HARDY - Funeral services for A.N. Hardy, 66, Kremlin community resident, were held Monday afternoon in the Schaeffer Funeral home chapel, with Rev. W.D. King officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park cemetery.

Hardy died Saturday noon in an Enid hospital following an operation Sunday.

His survivors are his wife; a son, W.F. Hardy of Enid; two daughters, Mrs. I.C. Johnson of Hunter, and Mrs. Edward Bircher of Caldwell, Kan.; 14 grandchildren, three brothers, and four sisters.

Alvin Neal Hardy was born in Hamilton, Ill., May 15, 1872, and died December 24, 1938, at the age of 66 years, 7 months and 9 days. He married Nancy Maud Snyder, April 2, 1895. To this union were born three children. In young manhood, he was united with the Presbyterian Church and later transferred membership to the M.E. Church at Kremlin. In 1913, Mr. Hardy, with his family, moved to a farm near Kremlin, on which he lived until his death. His father, mother, one sister and two grandchildren preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, one son, Walter Hardy of Enid; two daughters, Mrs. I.O. Johnson of Hunter, and Mrs. Edward Bircher of Caldwell, Kan.; three brothers, Charles Hardy of Winnebago, Minn.; Thomas Hardy of McComb, Ill.; and Harve Hardy of Hamilton, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha White of Keokuk, Ia.; Mrs. Lydia Denton of Hamilton; Mrs. Pearl Grindle of Hamilton; and Mrs. R. Robertson of Buennell, Ill.
