I found the following information in a book entitled "The Heritage of Franklin County, Alabama" on page 49, published in 1999:
Blue Hole-King Cemetery. John's body remains at the Blue Hole Cem which is on his Farm. The cemetery became (over time) an unkempt, inaccessible cow pasture. Freeman and Pat Cole Eary moved the Headstone in 1996.
Blackjack Cemetery: The headstone was moved here by Freeman and Pat Cole Eary in 1996. The family agreed that they wanted to have a place where succeeding generations could come to honor the memory of John Alexander Aery."
