Mrs. Chambers attended schools in Olney at South Ward and Olney High school. During World War II, she attended school in Ranger and worked in Fort Worth before moving to Florida where she worked for the US Army in payroll and administration.

She and W.C. "Dub" Chambers were married 18 July 1947 and they settled in Olney where she worked for Cooper Insurance Agency. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star.

After living in Electra, she moved to Moab, UT where she worked for Moab National Bank. She moved to Gordonville, then to Whitesboro.

She was a member of the North Avenue Baptist Church.
