On Dec. 23, 1906, he was married to Mary Lichty, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons and 7 daughters (Almeda-Mrs. John Klassen, Barbara-Mrs. Emanuel Kuepfer, Nelda-Mrs. Harold Cressman, Mrs. Mary Brunk, Hilda-Mrs. Clinton Bechtel, Eileen-Mrs. Aaron Horst, Idella, John and Alvin), 45 grandchildren, and 18 grandchildren. One son, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters preceded him in death. He was a member of the Maple View Church near Wellesley, Ont., where funeral services were held Oct. 22, conducted by Chris Streicher and Chris Erb.
